Welcome to CROSS!

Christ Reaching Out Saving Students (CROSS) is a campus

ministry associated with the Kentucky Baptist Convention.

CROSS serves all colleges in the Owensboro area.

We meet each Tuesday at 5 pm in the Daviess McLean
Baptist Building (across Scherm Rd. from KWC's Kendall Hall).
Dinner is provided and is followed by a time of
praise and worship!

All college students are invited to attend!

Missions & Ministry Opportunities

Curdsville Tutoring

Curdsville Tutoring meets every Monday from
5:30-7:15 p.m.

CROSS tutors help with homework and lead
Bible studies with children in the Curdsville area.

This is a wonderful opportunity to help children
in need of friendship and mentorship.

Hospitality Team

The Hospitality Team helps set-up and tear-down
tables and chairs before CROSS each week.

Occasionally, the Hospitality Team also cooks food for CROSS.

If you're interested in joining or have any questions,
contact Samantha Fletcher at samanthafl@kwc.edu.

Impact Team

Our creative ministries team is called Impact.

The team performs at CROSS on Tuesdays, at the
annual Dessert Theater, and occassionally at
churches in the Owensboro area.

Some of their activities include puppet shows,
signing, dancing, and creating videos.

New Life

Every third Thursday of the month, CROSS students go to
New Life Church to help serve food to impoverished
individuals and families in the Owensboro area.

We meet at the Baptist building at 5:30 p.m. to car pool
to New Life and usually return to campus around 7:30 p.m.

If you're interested in helping or have questions,
contact Hannah Priest at hannahpr@kwc.edu.

Praise Team

The praise team leads worship each Tuesday at CROSS.

They are always looking for vocalists and
musicians of all kinds.

There are also opportunities to lead pre-service music.

Discipleship Groups

F.R.O.G.

Freshmen Relying On God (FROG) is a Bible Study for college freshmen.
It meets each Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Cross Office.

F.O.I.

Friends of Internationals (FOI) is a new discipleship group that meets
Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. at the Cross Office. Any international college
student in the Owensboro area is invited for fellowship, international
meals, and a Bible Study.
