Second Annual Latino Series presents Colombian writer and poet Antonieta Villamil, Wednesday, April 23, at 7:00pm in Rogers Hall. Antonieta Villamil an internationally recognized award winning bilingual poet, editor, translator, singer and cultural promoter, with over 15 books in print. More information in the Daily Bulletin.

LLC Book Sale - The KWC Library Learning Center will hold its annual book sale Thursday, April 24, 8:00am to noon in the Winchester Library foyer. There are books on a variety of topics as well as lots of popular fiction for your summer reading. We’re keeping prices low, so take advantage of the great bargains available.

Senior Art Exhibition - Monday, April 21 through Friday, May 2 at the Ralph Center Gallery. "The Show with NO Name" features the works of Luke Shelley, Tara Martin, Brandon Harper, Hannah Hudnall, Wes Ward and Heather Corley.

88 Keys Music Recital: 7:30pm in Tapscott Chapel. This popular annual program features KWC students who take applied piano lessons from Diane Earle, as well as faculty guest artists. They will perform duets, trios and sextets with various styles and composers represented. The program is free and open to the public. For additional information, contact Earle at 270-852-3617.

"You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown" - The KWC Theatre Program will present "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" on April 25 and 26 at the Jody Berry Theatre at the RiverPark Center. Evening performances are at 8:00pm and a matinee will take place April 26 at 2:00pm. The musical comedy, written by Clark Gesner, will be directed by Professor Beth Parthum, head of the Wesleyan theatre program, and Patrick Ritsch, staff collaborative pianist at the College, will provide music direction. “This is a great family show for all ages and a great way to engage children in the joys of theatre and music,” remarked Parthum. Junior Recitals: Corey Moore and Nadia Wilkes - Tuesday, April 29, at 7:00pm at First Presbyterian Church. Corey Moore will sing selections by Handel, Faure and Quilter and an arrangement of “O Danny Boy” by James Mulholland. He will be accompanied by Patrick Ritsch and will be joined in duet by Nadia Wilkes. Moore is a student of Professor Dennis Jewett. Mezzo-soprano Nadia Wilkes will sing selections by Schumann, Purcell, Handel and others. Wilkes is a student of Lisa Clark.
